okay fellas I just bought another droptop 240..... the motor has 90k miles, and a new transmission... No body damage, not even a door ding.... I got the car for a grand.... one major problem... the interior is ****ed the bag window is partially detached from the rag top... and there are a few pieces missing from the interior... I can get the interior parts no prob.. but im too scared to even ask how much the top is from the dealership.... does anyone know of a new top i can order off the net... or any places in houston that repair convt. tops....?

I got a quote from a local shop in mass, and just the rear window "curtian"(cloth piece surrounding the window included) was gonna be $300 without labor......throwing down the overtime this month so i can afford it.

I bought a new top complete with window and all from a guy on ebay for $319 a few months ago. Haven't tried to install it yet, but it looks pretty good, just from looking at it.

I'll try to find an email addy for the guy.

I saw another of his auctions on there again recently (maybe 2 months ago?)

Thanks man. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of them, would you? Don't seem to have one on their site.

i went to a convertible shop and i was quoted around $900 for parts and labor. If you decide you want to try and install a top you bought off of eBay, please please please, get the suplementary FSM for the 'verts. It will be a life saver once you take the stitching out. It has everything you need down to making jigs to check the alignment of the bows.
