I have to have the cylinders for my top replaced. I've found where I can get a set, but my mechanic has never done them on a 240 before so doesn't know whether it's a big project or a quick swap out in order to tell me how much labor $$$ is involved. Does anyone know how difficult this replacement is? How long does it take? Is it any more difficult than on any other model out there? He works primarily on Mercedes, BMWs, and other high end cars, but the guy can do anything on any car, and he's honest and cheap so if I could give him an idea of what he's looking at, he could ballpark my $$$ up front.

They're not bad - it's a MESSY job tho, make sure he power-flushes the system with compressed air FIRST, and uses lots of towels and stuff, to keep hyd fluid off the top.
