Convertible top problem???

My close button for my top button got stuck in the open position while I was driving today. And the motor began to smoke. Does anyone know how to manually close the top?

there's a valve on the motor in the trunk. turn it to the closed position (should be 90 degrees from it's resting position) that will take the motor out of the top loop and you should be able to manually close it.

woowho! it close. Okay so now, that it's closed. What's the best way to figure out what is actually broken or blown. Because my top wouldn't close, but I hear the motor if I press any of the buttons but it doesnt seem to buldge or do anything. Is there any diagrams or threads on this yet? btw Thanks again.
