I have a 92 Nissan 240sx in great condition...always garage kept until about 1.5 years ago.. Now I have a problem with the plastic window in the convertible top....it is really foggy and have no visiblity. My daughter wants to drive the car now and I need to fix this problem...any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Can it be cleaned with something or does it need to be replaced? If replaced where do I begin? Thanks in advanceCarla

There is a plastic polish for the back window. You can buy it at autozone, it was locate by the lawnmower repair parts. Not to sure why its located there. If the haze isnt stained into the plastic you can just polish it clear. The reason why your back window is hazed because someone used Amonia(spelling) products on it like the old windex. If you want to replace it, it will cost you. Depending on your local canvas or custom shop they have to pull the top off your car and remove the stiching on the back window. Then they will have to restitch it if they can find the plastic material to replace it with. Its almost cheaper to just replace the top. You can find a few sites on the web that see new tops for 240sx's or contact JC Whittney on the web or get a catalog. They have them listed. This way you get a new canvas top and new plastic window in one shot. Plus you can do this yourself save some serious labor $$$$ Any questions feel free to contact via emailDJ1993 240SX Convertible
