just recently my top started to not come up so easy, after a little digging, i realized that the motor was leaking from a cracked O-ring between the motor and pump itself. does anyone know where i could buy a O-ring? Nissan does not have a parts chart for the pump, and can not help.. unless i have $1500, then they could sell me a brand new pump.. i only need an O-ring to fix this! so any help would be great!

thanks -Levi

Hi Levi -

First off, I'd start looking for a hydraulics repair shop in your area. I'm betting they wouldn't mind a small side-project, and they typically maintain a pretty healthy supply of different sized o-rings.

Section 19 should help as well: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1992_ ... lement.pdf
