convertible top electrical...

Hi I recently purchased a vert that has already been converted to a manual. The guy said when he did the auto to manual swap he had to wire something up where he lost the power for the convertible top motor.

Do you guys know what he is talking about and If I can rewire it to work?

Here's another picture in case that helps. The splice is where the blue wire clip is. Good luck with it.
