When I purchased my 240sx convertible, the owner told me It will need the drain hoses re-attached. He just welded up the rear quarters before selling me the car, he did an excellent job with it. When selling the car he told me that if I don't re-attach these drain hoses that the rust will appear again and eventually rot the fenders.

I've done some research, and looked through my service manual and I couldn't really find any mention of these hoses.

Anyone have insight on this?

I too have never heard of them, assume it would have to be accessed in the trunk or above rear wheels if they exist.

I do have the FSM Supplement, that's one of the first things I read.I'll have to go through it again. I'll post it if I read anything interesting on the topic.
