If this works and you can produce a limited run I'm sure they'd sell like fiberglass hotcakes - provided of course they didn't weigh a ton.

rock on!

p.s. I also like wirelessalpha's random pics and plan to include my own from now on.

Its very light :D You can lift it with one finger. The original one is real heavy against my new.Maybe I will make so more. My next will be made out of carbon

Wow, nice job. I'd buy one. Especially if u custom it so the center goes all the way out to make the 240 look like a roadster .

Wow! Really nice work Jens!

I wonder what it costs to ship one of those bad boys from Germany to the US?

Keep us updated on them.

I'm concerned that it might not fit in the trunk.

Oh!!! Sorry. I just assumed it. You know our trunk space is small. That's awsome.

A guy in Germany wanted to buy my used front bumper a couple of years ago. I tried to find the company that will ship for cheap and guess what? We gave up. Because of the box size, shipping was way too high. It was like $300. I couldn't ship via USPS cuz box was too big and UPS, FedEx, DHL and even small shipping companies right by the airport wanted $300.

My transmission arrived 2 weeks ago. From Orland Powerline :DIt was a very huge and heavy box. And it was less than 300$10 days an it arrived at my door!

Nice work Schnorchel.

Shipping to the US would be almost the same for 10 of them as it would be for 1. I say you guys do a group buy.

That was what I was getting at. It looks like size matters more than weight when it comes to international shipping.

thats really easy work it would be a piece of cake to make those. If ppl just want them wrapped in vinyl even easier. If you wanted it prepped to where it was smooth enough for paint it would cost a lot more. In fact thats so easy to make it really woudln't be worth paying the shipping, the box to fit that in will weigh 10 times the part itself and the shipping would be more than the labor and materials are worth to make it.
