Convertible operation on a hill

I read that the top operation should be done on a flat level surface. How serious are they about that? I live in a very hilly area and flat lever surfaces are scarce. How much of a slope can I be on (both front to back or side-to-side) and operate the roof safely?

That's a really good question. I imagine just find the least aggressive surface you can and go from there.

I think the reasoning for it would be because any body flex (which is normal) from being on uneven surfaces can mess with the alignment of the hinges and such.

I would not be on a steep hill. This is a VERY heavy hard top. That's a lot of weight has to be moved.
