convertible help!?

so im pretty new to the forums.im mostly on northwest nissans but not many people on there know about verts.

so i am in the middle of replacing my top and i got a whole new metal ribs and all and disconnected it from the shocks and swapped them (im not sure if you can take it off another way which is why i specified). before i swapped them the top motor worked perfectly and now just dosnt do anything.

oh and the whole time ive had the car neither of the quarter windows work.i checked all the fuses i.e. under dash and engine bay. im not sure if convertibles have more. and im thinking one or more of the relays went bad and i have no clue how to check thoes out or which ones are for what.

any help would be greatly appreicated!

Did you check the lock button on driver's side window switch for the quarter windows? It's a very common problem people have.

What happens if you hit top up or down button? Any noise?

no noise at all.il check that switch tomorrow.although when i just turn my car on i hear my driver side window trying to roll it self up i think or some kind of noise coming from it and when it was down and i heard the noise i tried to lift it up with my hand a little and it came right up.

so maybe a weak or bad motor?or relay going out.

oh and if it makes a diffrence this car has sat out in the rain and snow before i got it with no top on.
