I'm just curious to know how many people have boots.

Do you own a boot?Do you not own a boot?Are you looking for a boot?

I've had 4 of them over the years.

I have 2 at the moment.

I got one with my car. I never mounted it though because I could never figure out how it held down properly.

I have one that came with the old white vert. New Silvert didn't have one, so it got transferred.

Question is...Do you also have a storage BAG?It looks like it's easier to find a boot than an original storage bag.

You're right.. I think most of the people threw away the bag.

I wonder if it would be hard to find a replacement bag somehow. It couldn't be very expensive to make a vynil bag. It's not like it needs any specific form to it.

I have a boot too. learned how to fold it up to about half the size without creasing it so it doesn't take up the whole trunk.

i have neither.. the rear panels that came with my car were removed. and just lying in the back.

I have no boot and no bag because Dexter took them! However, I don't plan on running a soft top so there is no use for them and it is like 6" off anyways.

I have a boot and bag thanks to Ebay... spent about $275 for it shipped as I didnt know the going used rate and when I called the dealer they told me it was $800 with the bag brand new and they did not make it anymore. BTW I am a huge vert fan and i am glad I found this forum.. new guy here

Great to have you aboard.

The going rate for a nice condition boot is usually $300 or so. We've seen some ebay auctions hit $400+.

So the $275 you spent was not too shabby at all.
