i tried to do a search on these topics, but turned up nothing. i appreciate any help!

just started using the boot to cover the top on the 240. the plastic strip/piece that the boot clips into directly behind the rear seats is cracked and in need of replacement. any suggestions on where to find a replacement or how to work with it?

wouldn't mind also replacing the rear plastic in the top. what have you guys seen as far as prices for that?

suspension....front and rear needs replacement. i have found some replacement sutff, but what brand do you all think is a good replacement for a daily driver?

thanks a lot!

electrontop.com sells the rear window.

For a daily, KYB AGX + moderate lowering springs or a used Nismo S-Tune setup are good choices. I have S-Tune on my daily, and it is great.

vinyl curtain = rear window assembly, not the whole top.

If you want cheap but good set up, I'd go with GR-2 w/Tein S-Tech springs. You can't beat that combo. One step up would be KYB AGX with RSR, GF-210 or Prokit springs. Just avoid Sportlines and you are good. Your car will drop slightly and look good too.

I had a shop replace my rear window. I wish I still had the receipt to tell you the exact price I had to pay. It was like 100-200 if I remember correctly. Damn my memory sucks.

Anyways, if you aren't doing it yourself, it's very important that you get it done at a reputable place. The place that did mine didn't do such a good job...the window had a few scratches here and there when I got it, a flap inside the top kept coming loose (it still is loose actually)...minor things really. It works for now though until I get a whole new top altogether.

nah....i won't be replacing the rear window myself, but do need to get it done. i will have to do some research on local shops. i really just was curious how much that would run.

thanks for the part # for the boot as well!

Just had my window replaced.

Many places (topsonline.com, etc) had the rear curtain for roughly the same price: $180-200. The guy I hired (who also did my carpet) charged me $200 for installation. He ended up getting the curtain from a supplier he had built up a solid relationship with, and since he was the one doing the work, I signed off on it. Out the door price: $396. Results are excellent.
