Convert top is broken Pic

The pop weld came apart right above the passenger window. Any ideas of fixing this. Thank you in advance.

i dont know if this would work but maybe try drilling 2 holes thru the 2 pieces from the bottom and popping some rivets in there? Just an idea...

I just cannot accept that it cannot be welded back together.

Welcome to the broken vert top arm club. Mine is also broken....I tried to get it welded, but the welds don't stick, and I tried to put two bolts through my arm (at the base of the top by the rear windows) and it snapped it even worse....if you find out something before i do LMK.

Anyone tried jb weld. what kind of bolt did you use? Use a grade 8 bolt and jbweld around it..

agreed. The metal is fairly thick and sturdy, so it should weld. You just need to prep it up. Get rid of that rust and paint and take it to someone experienced.
