Convert miles to kilometers

I bought my M45 in the USA but live in Canada. I have changed the units display to show metric but can't figure out how to change the odometer display to show kilometers instead of miles. Any suggestions?

Hmmm ... I could have sworn that this was automatic. I.e., if you select metric, the odometer and tripmeter would switch to kilometers too.

Unfortunately, I am traveling today, so I cannot go look on my 2003 M (may be different from yours, of course) ... so, I hope some one else chimes in.

Yeh I would have thought it should switch with the LCD display, but it didn't. On a Ford I had to hold two of the control buttons down at the same time to get it to change between english & metric. Thanks.
