convert JDM speedo to mph

hi. way back in the day someone did a tutorial on how to solder resistors onto the speedo to convert the speedo from km/h to mph. i found some threads where a post was linked on zeroyon which is no longer active. anyone have this info saved or know how to do it? pics or vid would be great. thanks.

But the Odometer will still read in Kilometers.

That’s preferred. I’ll still have actual mileage (kilometerage?) while still knowing how fast I’m going above 110mph.
