Convert 04 Maxima SL from Auto to 6-speed manual

Is it possible to go from automatic to manual in these cars easily? Cost of such a task? Thanks

Not easily. It's actually a pretty involved process. Costs are going to be pretty high as well for two reasons.1. Very few maxima's came loaded with the 6sp manual transmission. I know it took a while for my dealer to locate mine.2. Because of the low production numbers you won't have much luck finding used transmissions for the conversion. I'm not sure whether a manual transmission from a 3.5 Altima would fit, but you might look into it.

In any case, it's going to be expensive and labor intensive.
