conversion???

Ohhhhhhhhh my goodness I am sorry you guys but I am trying to learn all I can about the G20 right now cause that might be what I end up buying, and I see the posts about the SR20 swap and I get that, but does it includes the GTIR also???? But the main question I wanted to know is if the pulsar (excuse me if I spelled it wrong LOL) body panels such as the hood, fenders ect. can be put on the G20(1990-1996)ury and be a pretty easy set up........Like the S13 silvia conversion on the 240s.............I was wondering about this because I think I want to keep the TMIC and i think I would need that hood so the IC can get some air, and i think it would look pretty sporty do have a conversion on one of those....I know any conversion can be done with alot of money, but can this be done with little fabrication???Has anyone ever done it before???would it be easier on a nissan sentra???Thanks you guys!!!

GTi-R is an SR20, so the install is the same.

I'm fairly certain the Pulsar is on the B chassis, so it would be easier to transfer the hood and any other body panels you want to an SE-R of the same generation.

If it's a P chassis, because for some reason I can't remember for sure if it's B or P, then the body panels would fit a G20 better.

Why you'd do that is beyond me, I'm relatively certain it'd be cheaper to just get a scooped G20 hood or even have one cut into your stocker.

Thanks for the reply and I am sorry Rex, but I really didnt know if anyone was going to respond in this area....will never happen again!!! And the reason why I was curious about the panels fitting is because I was thinking of investing in a front clip, because of all the parts that are needed for the swap, and if the clip came with all of the panels I would do the swap and swap the body parts..........And I am sorry but can you explain the different differences in the B and P chasis like the years and things like that???

The G20 is a P-series chassis (91-96 is P10, 99-02 is P11). Body panels from a GTI-R will not fit without modification. The car has an SR20DE stock, highport from 91-93, lowport from 94-99, and lowport roller rocker from 00-02. And it is NOT a Sentra with leather, it is a Euro/JDM Nissan Primera which was never sold in the US. The B chassis is the Sentra platform and is a different design, wheelbase, etc.

So the GTi-R is indeed a B chassis car? That's what I thought.

Like I said, the cost of making that clip fit definitely gives the upper hand to just having a scoop in the stock hood.

Actually the front end off the pulsar will fit on the G20. Fenders, hood, lights, etc. Seen a pic of this done. Dont know how much modification is needed, but if you look at the front of both cars, they are almost identical.

I thought the fronts look similar too..........like the widths and the headlights alittle.........but i know there could still be alot of modifications that I need to do............By the way do you have any pics or websites with them???cause I cannot find them....

They're not the same, people have tried and run into issues...So is it doable? In theory yes, but it will be expensive. Check out G20.net for more specific G20 stuff.
