Conversion question

Hello my new Nissan brother and sisteran. I'm on a quest, and would love some input and info from you. I've crossed over from the Acura world (98 Type R) and now am investing my time, energy, and obviously money into a new project. I have a 97 S14 that is going under the knift. S20 redtop swap, turbo/intercooler/engine management (you know all the fun stuff), interior's getting switched as well. Here's where the fun part comes. I'm going with an S15 updated look for the front (widebody/overfender ING or Origin kit). Now, this issue has been searched, and tried and hasnt been answered for me. I'm wanting the s15 tails on the car (loved it since I saw it in Japan a few years back). My idea (tell me if I'm way off) is to order the s15 overfenders, s15 rear bumper (don't know if it's would be needed??), and potentially a rear s15 trunk lid (dont know if I can't just modify my s14's, or even if the s15 trunk lid would fit in general. Am I missing anything? I'm still trying to figure out what I would do with the center light space that would need to be filled (or would this be eliminated with getting the s15 fenders and s15 trunk lid?) I'd love all info if needed. This seems like a great board, with some good people!!

honestly I wouldn't do the tails they look too big on the s14, and people will say "oh, look a grand am!"

Thanks for the response...also looking for others imputs. Does anyone know some other taillight options either?

Hey Sylvian, welcome aboard!

I think you might be disappointed, as the taillights rely on the rear unibody (the "framework" around the trunk and rear bumper).

Another option is to source some late-model 200sx tails from the UK or Australia - Those look cool and different.

Thanks AZHitman...hmmm those lights could be a possibility. Any idea on where to find some/purchase them?
