i went to the mechanic cuz i heard clicking on the wheels.. thought maybe it was the brake rotors rubbing agaisnt wheels, but nope.. he revealed to me how bent the control arms and the bracket in front of it were... any tips on where to start on fixing it? i was gonna go out and get 2 control arms and 2 brackets.. this will be the first time i try anything like this though... is there anything more than unattach and reattach new? is there a better way to get these parts than through a junkyard? is it even worth fixing? thank you.

the only thing that might be tricky is the ball joint to unattach. the junkyrad will be the best place or maybe control arms from pdm-racing.com. def go fix it another lil hit could cause the whole wheel to bend back into the fender. happen to me when i hit a curb sideways seeing how fast i could take a turn

If you have all the parts, you can replace a set of control arms in a few hrs. Not a bad job at all if you have a breaker bar.

i went to pdm-racing and looked at their control arms. they come with bushings and ball joints and the price is good. is it a smooth transaction? what are bushings?

Structure240sx, when you hit the curb, was there anything else you had to do besides replace the control arms? or fix? like alignment or camber, toe?

The car is already undrivable. the wheel is moving freely within the fender, when i brake, it grinds the inside of the fender =*( the thing in front of the control arm is broken off.is it possible to unattach the ball joint by hand (with a ratchet)?

oh, and would there be a difference in getting the control arm from pdm-racing and a junkyard? the junkyards i've called have it at around the same price, i could save the hassle of ordering it online and just get it at a junkyard?
