Hello,
I replaced my lower right control arm in my 2015 nissan pathfinder. I am trying to find the specs to torque the bolts to. There are three bolts that hold the control arm into place. I have tried looking at the service manual but am unsure of what it says exactly.
Thanks

If you are looking at the factory service manual then they will have the torque values listed next to each bolt that requires a torque specification. There will be a symbol that looks like a wrench on a hexogonal bolt head with a set of numbers like 103(11, 76). The numbers are the torque values in Nm(kg-m, ft.lb). My previous example is 103Nm or 11kg-m or 76ft.lb, just go with whatever units your torque wrench is in. My Craftsman torque wrench shows both Nm and ft.lb.

So I looked again and I only see one torque. It says 125. That seems really high. It is the diagram on page 11.

One torque value in three different units of measure. 170Nm = 17kg-m = 125ft.lb (not sure if that's what you meant)

In any case, 125ft.lb is what it says to torque the nut so that's what it should be. Looking at the nuts for the transverse link, correct? It is a suspension component so it's not surprising that it needs to be torqued down pretty good. Suspension stuff is where you will commonly see higher torque specifications.

BTW, the X symbol next to the wrench symbol means that particular component should be replaced (with a new part) after each disassembly. You will often see that on high torque nuts & bolts.
