I talked about my unfortunate luck rear ending lawyers with the S14 in an earlier thread. Wellp I ordered all my new front end parts and the first of them arrived today from Phase2motrend. Let me tell you it was some crazy fast shipping. anyway take a gander at my new headlights.

With shipping brand new from phase2mototrend was $717. It was the most expensive part of the front.

very nice, to the both of you. nothing more intimidating than S15 headlights...

curious tho... when did they start painting the inside of the houseings? i know ive seen the silver ones before but i assumed someone customized them

and thats gonna be quite the task putting S15's on an accord... i dont see how the lines match up at all really... (go for the S14.5) >: )my buddies got an accord coupe like yours, i helped him put his projecter headlights a while ago, black houseing etc, but they look really good. y crossbreed?

glad my thread was successfully hijacked. I think converting hondas is waaaay poserish. It doesnt make sense, i see kids in this area with 99 civics or accord worth way more then my 240 trying to do nissan or other crossbreed parts and when i ask why they get all defensive and say they arent "rich like me" and cant afford the real thing. why try to be comething you're not, just make the real nissan.

That and I have a great passioante hate for honda tuners with the exception of a very select few.

So you dont think anyone should do a Silvia or a 180 conversion or a to the 240?? Its the same thing if i did it to my accord. People are trying Im not trying to make my Honda a Nissan silvia at all. I just love the S15 headlights and want to put them on my Accord. Is that so wrong???So you will be a poser because you put the silvia headlights on your 240 because you said it yourself in your post. Its not about being a poser or thinking someone is a poser its all about customizing! Hell you should know that. Down the line im probley going to do a S15 conversion to my 240 also. But I will NEVER PUT A SILVIA BADGE ON THE 240 OR THE ACCORD! Now thats poserish

I hope you see my point

ThanksBrandonKeep Modifying!

yes i do see your point but im still against crazy crossbreeding. probably the most angering of all such crossbreeds is when a accord or prelude put EVERYTHING off a skyline on their car and try to pass it off as a skyline. conversions inside the maker dont bother me, although i wouldnt see the point for some honda ones (for example integra lights on a civic) but I do see the point on a JDM integra front on a us integra since it bolts in and looks good.

well, you got the head lights......700 down. now all you need are the fenders hood and front end. s15 ish is expensive. it will definitally be worth it though.

s15 front end sucks unless its on an s15. it sucks on s14 and it sucks on accord.

Cause Civic lights aren't Accord lights, and because they don't look good.

All ya'll need to stfu, at least wait til the final product to slam on him. I could totally see this happening and being pulled off right, the rest of you are just speaking to hear yourselves talk.

Be sure to get progress pics of the headlight conversion!

I'm not a big fan of crossbreeding on the externals, but I would love to see pics on what you have planned for your Accord. I have a gut feeling it's gonna all look bitchin as hell when it's done bro. Can't wait!

I actually saw an integra with a bomex front bumper and S15 lights that looked pretty badass but I just dont like crossbreeding, and while I respect the effort I absolutely HATE the fact that someone dropped a chevy V8 into a 240.

For all of the people that think that the S15 lights don't belong on an Accord, go to http://www.v6p.net and click on the ride of the month for Feb. 2004 and I think that you will see what look he is going for.

Customizing is the shizzle minizzle. That's what all the aftermarket part is for. Everyone wants there car to be different and that is why people do what they want.

That car is a really, really bad example.

BUT, the stock Accord light layout does not really look all that different from the S15 ones, so my money is on this project being pulled off right! Judging by the semi-low profile styling the car already has (externally at least)

Anyone even remember what the original thread topic was?
