anybody ever heard of this..... they were offering a 2 year 25k warranty....mostly drive train stuff..... also cooling, starter, alternator.

tried to do the hard sell 1200 bucks..... it's insurance but 25k doesn't quite do it for me.... now if it were 3 year 36k , I would probably bite.

They are smart and understand the REAL COSTS.

The things that might be covered [after 100,000 miles] would average at least $750 per year prorated and another $1750-2,250 for things not covered.

I sure wouldn't trust you to keep your transmission maintained if you had a policy that would replace it.............assuming the risk is $6,000 [transmission , AC, knock sensors, engine sensors].........$1200 is pretty small premium when 1/3 gets allocated to sales commission.
