OK, I'm contemplating getting a HEADER/EXHAUST package from speedforceracing... I began preliminary talks with Turbo Tim this weekend!

WARNING, THIS WILL NOT BE CHEAP... for all of the guys on a budget, this is probably not a mod for you. The Header is gonna run more like $1000, and probably another $500 - 800 for the cat back exhaust... Install on the header at almost ANY shop is gonna run a minimum of about $500, maybe as high as $1000 depending on their experience with the New CVT and VQ (the CVT makes it a ***** to get around in the engine bay)

Anywy, I'm guessing this whole thing will run about $2500, but hopefully I can negotiate that with TIM...

in any case, it should provide a nice alternative to the "other" companies out there selling exhausts, and to date, NO ONE has gotten a header going!

I'll keep you guys posted as more info develops!

Good info I already have the stillen but would def be intersted in the headers depending on how long stillen is going to take. Will the catback be setup the same way as blakes with N/A size piping if so maybe some pics of Blakes. I wanted to see it anyway, and im sure while taking numerous pics of Blakes car yall got some shots of his exhaust.

yeah I thought about the turbo, and am still considering it.. i'd need to throw $500 a month in the bank of the next year to get it done comfortably... don't believe in putting mods on credit!

In any case, we'll see... and yes, I agree, 2500 is a bit much... but folks on here have paid like 700 for the exhausts, some plan to pay 900 for the stillen headers (I seriously doubt they will be 600), and after install labor on both, that's what the price would be...

Honestly, all of these guys putting exahaust on their cars are not getting what they could do to the factory headers... I know most did it for the looks and the sounds.. but I would be doing it for the performance...

speedforceracing has made some VERY good numbers from its headers and exhausts... they even got 15 MORE HP when compared to another company's similar profuct on the exact same setup... that company then hired speedforceracing to start making thee exhausts for the company... TRUE STORY!!

Whoever makes the first headers for the car will be the headers I will buy. If is SFR and I like the product (puts down good numbers) I will get rid of my exhaust and get the SFR catback also.

dude, seriously, its just a matter of when you would want to do it... Tim says he will get on it soon, he would just need a cr to do the measurments on... give Tim a call, and let's see what we could work out.. but only if you're serious dude... not saying you, but on this site, there's a lot of folks that talk the talk, but don't walk the walk when it comes to ponying up the dough... I'm sure Tim would start working on it right now if you were serious about it!!

he told me just a few days... they've actually already built headers for the VQ... the hard part is getting the thing installed, but for the most part I don't think a lot of work would need to be done!
