2500$!? why don't you turbo too while your at it? you don't know how lucky you are to be soo close to them DO IT!rjdmmfl1 wrote:OK, I'm contemplating getting a HEADER/EXHAUST package from speedforceracing... I began preliminary talks with Turbo Tim this weekend!
WARNING, THIS WILL NOT BE CHEAP... for all of the guys on a budget, this is probably not a mod for you. The Header is gonna run more like $1000, and probably another $500 - 800 for the cat back exhaust... Install on the header at almost ANY shop is gonna run a minimum of about $500, maybe as high as $1000 depending on their experience with the New CVT and VQ (the CVT makes it a ***** to get around in the engine bay)
Anywy, I'm guessing this whole thing will run about $2500, but hopefully I can negotiate that with TIM...
in any case, it should provide a nice alternative to the "other" companies out there selling exhausts, and to date, NO ONE has gotten a header going!
I'll keep you guys posted as more info develops!
yeah I thought about the turbo, and am still considering it.. i'd need to throw $500 a month in the bank of the next year to get it done comfortably... don't believe in putting mods on credit!mcheddadi wrote:

dude, seriously, its just a matter of when you would want to do it... Tim says he will get on it soon, he would just need a cr to do the measurments on... give Tim a call, and let's see what we could work out.. but only if you're serious dude... not saying you, but on this site, there's a lot of folks that talk the talk, but don't walk the walk when it comes to ponying up the dough... I'm sure Tim would start working on it right now if you were serious about it!!FGFCacoupe wrote:Whoever makes the first headers for the car will be the headers I will buy. If is SFR and I like the product (puts down good numbers) I will get rid of my exhaust and get the SFR catback also.
he told me just a few days... they've actually already built headers for the VQ... the hard part is getting the thing installed, but for the most part I don't think a lot of work would need to be done!Jose3.5 wrote:How long would he need the car for?
