Contemplating a G37 Coupe

I’ve been poking around on the forum trying to do a little research. I currently have a 05 Mazda Miata Speed, running simple mods and producing just under 190hp. This is my second Miata and even though I really enjoy it, I am looking at something that is a little more comfortable as it is my daily drive. I don’t have a long commute, but do have numerous short trips throughout the week. I considered the 37 Coupe a few years ago, but ruled it out before even a test drive (at the time the initial expense was prohibitive). One big drawback is the cost of tires. I have a real problem dropping 1k every time they need to be replaced. One solution would be to purchase some aftermarket wheels, different size than the OEM and then tire options expand to the point that my wallet can except.

The G37 emphasizes peak power, so it seems like it isn't as snappy off the line as it should be.

Nice enough interior though.
