Does anyone know how to wire up the consult port with the sr swap ??? what wires ????

i am trying to figure that out as well. my car is down for repairs all winter but i am still intending to have cosult capability. i have a consult 1 ddl and i think it only needs power, ground, and 3 data lines. the data lines are something weird like rx, tx, and tk or something(can you tell i have not messed with it in a while). i found an sr ecm pinout and had all hooked up except the tk data line(or whatever it was called). i plugged up consult and everything was good untill the sys call came up. it would never return from system call. hope that helps.

The lines are Power, Ground, Tx, Rx, and CLK. If you're ever done any work with serial communications, you'll recognize what they all do.

Just wire up the consult port itself to those 5 wires off of the ECU and you're good to go.

If I remember correctly all the wires are on the smaller ecu connector with all the gauges cluster wires just line up the colors.

Well, if it's a S14 OBD-II consult here's the wiring.

Tx goes to pin 21 on ecuRx goes to pin 22 on ecuCLK goes to pin 31 on ecu

Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but I have a RB25DET (S1), does anyone have a clue how to wire it up? I figured out the 5 wires on the consult connector, but I have a connector from a Z32 and the colors don't line up.
