Consult Port

Does the 89 240sx have a consult port.Is it the same as the 91-94 consult portThanks

It has one, but the plug isn't the same.

ECU wouldn't know what to do with it.

all you get is the old checker box. it will pull codes and watch o2 sensors. some other stuff too. or you can use the diagnostic switch on the ecm. then you watch the blinking lights. yay. i hate the checker box.

hmm, when i pulled the driver side kick panel to resolder a broken joint in that white Time Control Unit, I saw what seems to be a consult port dangling above it...
