Hey,

So I connected the harness to my car for its SR20DET and It runs smoothly, the harness apparently already has the consult port option wired into it. So i went ahead and purchased myself a consult port adapter from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diagnostic-Inte ... b2&vxp=mtr but when i went ahead to test it, the adapter from the ECU is a bit bigger compared to the interface one..

Any ideas if i got the wrong interface and which interface should i get???

this is the adapter from the ecu

The consult port isn't near the ECU. It's near the interior fuse panel. I did a google search looking for what you have, and I couldn't find anything that had an 18 pin Consult style plug, nor do the JDM versions use that plug, they use the same 14 pin plug we have here. Now, I did come across a conversion harness to run an OBD1 ECU on an ODB2 car, and it had a consult plug that LOOKS like a standard consult plug.

The one that i have is branched out from the blue connector that goes to the ECU, so that is why my first thought was that it was an already wired consult port.

I already sent a email to the guys that gave me the harness to see what is their explanation.

Thanks to both of you guys...
I will keep on doing some research to see what was the wiring done there
