I currently have a Nissan consult II borowed from a friend. Im trying to see if i can figure out my wierd shifting issues with it.What specific parameters should i look at? I ran a test on it at idle and it comes back OK. An interesting note: I reset the memory and the transmission shifted smoother for about 3 days but has since reverted to its old self...Anyhow any one have any comments/suggestions for me?

I'd check the voltages on the TPS sensor... if someone has messed with it's calibration that can throw things off. Do you have a service manual? It goes in to great detail about the tests to run and how to use Consult.

I checked TPS its right on the specs. I have a Mitchell On_demand program....Kinda hard to navigate. What i thought was weird was that when i reset the ECU it shifted better til it relearned.
