I bought a Consult cable from E-Mance from "Drape123" now it only works when the ignition is in the on position not when the car is turned on can anyone help me?

Also another funny thing the TPS is at 2% when the throttle is released when floored the TPS reads 4.26-4.30 volts.

The IAC is at 10% which is normal I think.

I checked both of my Q's tonight with Nissan Data Scan. Cold engine, ignition in the ON position.

NDS gauge reads from 0.00-6.00. 90Q: 0.48...... 94Q: 0.58. Sorry but I forgot to press the accelerator to get the high reading.

Thanks for the results I think from your reading I have a dirty IAC or it could be something else but thanks again.

Try connecting with the engine running. Were you having trouble (electrical?) with your ignition switch or was it someone else?

10% is not too far off the mark but if you've never cleaned it it's due. Removal is not too difficult unless you have paws for hands. Do the TB and EGR at the same time but have all 3 new gaskets on hand before you start.

The problems is that te steering wheel wont lock. Hopefully the ignition isnt bad. But the guy I bought the board off of sent me $5 to send the board back to him and he will send me a new bard and cable for free becaue he thinks it has to do with the power distribution on the board.

Tried connectiong with the engine on but it wont read the ECU. I did how ever drive the car, put it in neutral, shut it off, put the ignition in the on position, and it did read the ECU and it told me that I was going 10 MPH

I have done alot of things to my car ( I removed all 3 seats and cleaned them and took apart the front seats to clean them with lexol. I removed everthing but the dashboard (I mean the Big Dashboard) and the headliner.) But working under the engine scares me because If you screw something up there not only will it look bad (Thats not to say that I didnt put everthing back the way it was.) but the car wont run right or at all if you screw something there.

But I will get on it soon anyways I will try seafome then if thats crap I will most likely do the job right like you said.

Ok just to update The consult works it was the ECU I have a spare ECU (94 Q45 TCS California Model).

Weird thing though seeing the ECU not connecting to the consult when the car is on.

Wonder if its the plug or the connectors on the ECU I will clean both and see.

Would parts clean screw up the ECU and connector if I sprayed it?
