I drive a 1991 Nissan 240sx

I recently purchase this car about a month ago.

The car's history that i can figure out, it used to been an Automatic and now its a manual with 115K on the trans. Not sure on Engine it self.
Car his DOHC engine, **i think thats what the stock engine is**

ANYWAYS!!! >
Heres my problem, The car starts fine, but when in Neutral, or ANY gear, once i reach about 2500 rpm and all the way to 7000rpm
I get a CONSTANT pulse ; the battery lights keep going on n off on n off, and the engine it self loses power then back to normal, loses power then back to normal. It goes along with the pulse it self.

NOW i did add AN extra 0 Gauge Ground on my car battery, and it helped!!. but after a day or two. it came back.
Then i grounded the Engine it self, on the valv cover (however you call it ) and it helped again, but the pulse came back again.

The battery i have is a Yellow top Optima and its been tested. works fine.
Alternator has been tested, works fine, even on high revs, works fine.

SOO why am i keep losing power? im getting annoyed as f*** with this pulse!!. PLease help :) lolz.
