Console tray

Hey everyone,
Just purchased a 2012 EX35, traded in a 2004 G35X. Loved the G but needed something with a bit more room...didn't want anything too big either. The EX35 fits my needs perfectly. I love the way it handles and its performance.

My question is when I took delivery on the new car, the owner's manual shows a picture of the console with a removable tray that fits over the top of the opening under the lid. The dealer said that there is no such thing for the console. He said that it may have been in previous years..???
Was just wondering if anyone has anything like this or is the dealer correct.

I am not sure when they came in the EX but I had one left over from my totalled G37 (2010) and it fit right in my 2011 EX. If you have the slots on your console for it to fit in you can probably pick one up (or order one) from a dealer.

If it was missing, they should give you a free one.

My new 2011 EX did not have the tray either. I called my salesperson and he mailed me one free the same day (I live 45 minutes from the dealership).

I'm I picking up my registration tomorrow. I'm going to talk to them about it. I thought it should be there too.

Just came back from dealer. I got the tray out of my car that I traded in and it fit perfectly. I guess the width of the consoles have not changed much since 2004. Anyway, I'm happy now...at least it works.

i have a new 2011 it did not have it. I'm going to call the salesman about it.
I dealer I bought from is not local hope he ships it out. ill see

I was able to find a part number for the tray for those who may want it. I think it should fit the EX console just based on my experience.

Yup, as I recall, the G35 tray did fit the EX. Unfortunately, they sold my G35 trade-in quickly and before I realized that I was missing the tray. I also wished I would have taken out the cargo net but ended up buying a G37 Coupe net off of eBay and it works great (the sedan net may have been too deep). Nice to see that there is some interchangeability.
