I'm sure most of you have read what she's got installed and she has become a second project car, which I can't really afford to have. Z32 is my primary project... having 2 is a royal pain, so I'm am selling my 200SX, as I bought a '88 300ZX NA for a beater ($500).

Anyway, what's she's got...

Modifications:

Suspension Technique Front Springs ($80)Sumitomo HTRII Tires 215/50/15 (Need to check) ($200)New OEM Exhaust Manifold ($150)Used Distributor, Cap & Rotor ($30)New Wires & Plugs ($30)T28 GTiR Turbo (0.64 Compressor / 0.86 Exhaust) ($400) - Will be swapped for mint condition stock CA18DET T25 turbo to lower price...Custom 2.5" Downpipe ($200)Custom 2.5" Straight Exhaust ($300)Volvo Intercooler ($70)Z32 MAF Sensor ($150)Z32 Intake ($150)Custom Intercooler Piping ($100)HKS SSQV BOV ($250) - Will be removed to lower price...Hyundai Twin Electric Fan Radiator ($70) CA20E Intake Manifold (Ported to Gasket Match at ends) ($100)KA24DE Throttle Body (Manifold Ported to Match) ($50)450cc DSM Injectors ($50)Apexi Super AFC 2 Limited Edition Fuel Computer ($300)LM-1 Innovate Technology Wide Band O2 Sensor ($350)1999 Sentra Front Seats ($100) - Will be removed to lower price...

All of this on top of the car itself... I also still have the following stock parts:

Radiator, Front Seats, Manifold, Throttle Body, 3 stock injectors & stock fuel rail, MAF, and a few other miscellaneous items.

I also have a set of Z31 Sway Bars I was going to put on that I could include.

As you can see I have some money wrapped up in the car and have no desire to take a loss... Engine runs strong, she just has a minor vacuum leak causing a racing idle I can't track down.

So far with the setup I've boosted 10psi and she's really strong, but the clutch is starting to slip. I may be able to include a CA18DET Clutch & Flywheel with the car if the buyer is interested.

Anyway, if anyone is interested please let me know. I may throw it on eBay and see what kind of interest I get.

Body is overall somewhat clean... its got a little rust in the rear and one side of the car has been repainted, and not all too well I might add. Non of the seals leak, she's water tight... only other issue I've had with the car is one of the powersteering lines leaks, so I've been adding fluid occasionally. Otherwise its been running well.

According to my calculations I have about $3400 in the car... not sure if I can get that back out of her or not... but I'm willing to entertain offers. Turbo is VERY Capable of producing high PSI numbers... probably in the 16-18psi range. On Z32s they're used up to 24psi in pairs when the car is equiped with 555cc injectors... and that's on pump gas. So far I've been running rich at current boost levels and only on 87 octane, so there is a lot of room for tuning. I can also throw in a manual boost controller I have laying around and a autometer boost gauge I currently have setup just for testing.

She is otherwise stock... original radio, etc...

Thanks for looking... I can get photos of whatever you're interested in seeing...

I got nothin' but love for the S12. I just picked one up myself. I hope you sell it to someone who can appreciate it.

Must be hard to sell a nice looking car like that bro. I know when i had my car I loved it with everything.

How much are you looking to sell it for?

and that is great mileage for a 1984

Is she a Manual?

I've got $3400 in her... not including what I paid for the car (but I got her for a steal). It is a 5spd, but under the current power load the clutch isn't going to last very long. Its ok when you first start to drive, but after a few good romps, it will start to slip in 4th... then just keeps heating the disc up. She's got under 71k at the moment. Would like to get as much out of her as possible if I was to sell it. I know that's over book, but there is almost nothing book about her. ^_^ I guess I could part it all out and put it back to stock, but that would be a pain. Hopefully someone will buy her as is.

I would probably pay about $4000 for that. Its too bad that it will be pretty difficult to get very much money out of it, compared to what you have put in it. If you are still selling it next year at this time I will buy it for 4 G's

Bump...

Any interest? I've got over $4k in her... barely driven her 2k miles since I bought her. LOTS of potential. I was thinking of asking $3500... negotiating from there. Too much all things considered? I'll probably put her on eBay if I don't get any interest.

Thanks!

$3500?? wow

That seems a little high for a 20 yo car.

The things youve done are very cool, but the car definatly needs some work. Plus the clutch problem needs to be soved.

Dont get me wrong, its a great car. When I was 17 in 1990, I wanted one after my 82 Datsun got totalled.:(

Well I mean I know it seems like a lot for a 20 yr old car... but the car itself is worth ~$1k. I've put $3400+ in parts... Its setup to run probably 15psi+, no telling what power she'll make at that point. All it would need is a vacuum issue solved and possibly a new clutch. I might even be able to throw in a CA18DET Clutch & Flywheel... Which would definitely more than solve the clutch problem.

Guess I might just part it out and see what I can get for her.

Bump, I adjusted the original post. The turbo that came on my CA18DET clip is in mind condition and I'm going to swap it over to this 200sx and pull the T28 off and sell it seperately. HKS BOV will also be coming off and the seats out and replaced with stockers, unless the buyer wants them. Price is now $2800 obo. I'll throw in a stock CA18DET Clutch & Flywheel as well...

Alright... $2800 obo as is... w/ T28 GTiR Turbo, with the seats, and with HKS BOV. I'll even throw in all the spare parts I have laying around (help clean out my garage).
