Looking at 2007 Altima 2.5S. After searching the web, I'm somewhat concerned about the CVT. It drove fine. Are there things to check? Of course, I realize there's no way to predict the future. Just wondering what others have experienced.

Don't do it! Unless you're a mechanic, and are willing to purchase a "new", "used", or "remanufactured" CVT for about $5,000.

I am considering the purchase of a 2011 2.5s (CVT) with 67,000. Car fax hasn't generated any issues and it's been serviced regularly. Avoid? And if I purchase, should I get an after-market warranty? And if so, what's the best warranty to get?

Thanks...
