Sounds like ur on the right track. I'd go for an 05/06. My insurance went down after I traded my 350Z and Evo8 for the the G. Then again I wrecked my Z on a drifting accident in the mountains. Our G's don't stand out as much as the Honda and Acuras either. Oh ya, G's are considered cars that are owned by the more responsible folks .

You heard wrong!! The VQ35 will do 400rwhp without any major issues, but the 500 range will require extensive upgrades to internal components. Getting 400 requires some sort of FI and a tune. Getting there with NA mods will not be cost effective. The VQ comes from the factory already high strung, which is why it's difficult and expensive to make big numbers.

insurance is also based on many factors. previous accidents, age, etc. i'm paying 1700 dollars every 6 months and i'm with all state. i've been in one accident when i first started driving lke 4 years ago.

i have about 4 or 5 speeding tickets too. so it's not too bad. good luck on getting your ride.
