Hi all,

I am new to the infiniti scene. I am in the market for a used 05 infiniti fx35. I did notice that the 06 looks very different from the inside.

Does anyone have any opinions on the difference between the two and which is better? the 05 is obviously cheaper and more affordable, but is the 06 the way to go?

i appreciate any comments.

Check on Edmunds.com and look at the specs and standard features on the '05 & '06. I think there may have been signifigant changes in the '06. The depreciation is fairly low on the FX so it would pay to go '06 if there are major changes & you can afford it.

The FX is a great vehicle IMHO. I have always liked them, the 06+ fixed many of the tiny noises and bugs that the earlier models had. Although do not take that to mean that the original models had issues. They are relatively few and far between. There are a few key differences in options and handling packages with the FX. The FX sport w/ 20" rides a bit rougher than the models w/ 18". Technology wise there are a few options Nav, iKey and ICC are all very useful options but may not fit your needs.

I would say they are pretty equal but depends on how they are equiped. the 04' had NAV, keyless, etc so I'd go by what you can get the best deal on with the lowest miles. Of course if your planning to keep it for 2 years and selling it than the 06' is the way to go, if your gonna drive it for a long time than just drive both and see which fits you best witht he best deal.
