I’m looking at a ‘12 G37S vert. Had a prepurchase inspection at the local Infinity dealer. Biggest red flag was a loose latch on the top. The service guy told me to run away from that. Said if loose it probably would break and could cost me $3,000 to replace. What are your thoughts on this? I don’t want a $$ pit.

Can't speak to the $ for repair to top but I purchased used a 2012 G37 convertible from PP three years ago with 50k miles on it. It has been a flawless vehicle and now has 67k miles. No problems whatsoever with top or anything else.
