This is a little bit of a random question, and this was the best place it seemed to post it. I am currently building a KA24DET for my 95, and the engine I bought for it, I have a spare set of Rods and Pistons for it. A friend mentioned to me I should get the pistons and rods powercoated or polished and then put a clock in the crank end of the rod. I was wondering if anyone would be interetsed in buying these (I will have 4 for sale, duh) and how much you would pay.

Rick

That sounds cool! I'm very interested as long as the price isn't too high. Let me know an approx price.

I would guess about $75-100 shipped, Im going to try and get some little nismo stickers made to stick under the face on the clock, and voila, nismo clocks. Still interested?

Alright, you want unfinished, or blue or black powder coat?I could also leave the rod itself unfinished, (it looks good now) and polish just the piston if you would like.

BTW, If you put one of these in your car, it would be at least +20 horsepower, easily. :D

Im also going to make some oak mounting plates for them.

Anyways, If anyone is interested in them I have 2 left, you can email me at [email protected] or [email protected] or RickMer2 on AIM.

Thanks

I'd like this piston polished, and the rod polished if possible. Otherwise, the rod unfinished.
