So heres my question...how much has McCain really been involved with the congress that needs to get back to work? John McCain has missed 63.3% of votes in this Congress. Obama has missed 44.8%. Well if you look at the amount of votes the Senate has had, 630 this year, McCain would need to have perfect attendance for 5.9 weeks while Obama was on vacation to catch up.

However, on the same note. The only Senator who has missed more votes than McCain or Obama...has cancer

How about we instead look at this way:

McCain total Senate votes missed - 797Cast - 5,263Percent missed - 13.7%

He missed the most votes in election years 2000 and 2008, 198 missed and 399 missed respectively. Hmm... I wonder why...

Obama:Total missed - 293Cast - 982Percent missed - 23%

Missed post in this election year 2008... and again, I wonder why.

As a comparison, lets loot at John Kerry in the 2004 election year.Missed - 488Cast - 187Percent missed - 72.3%

Regardless... helloooooo people!!!!!! These are the front runners for President, do you seriously think they have the time, or expect them, to vote in that kind of situation? Give 'em a damn break.

on that point...yes thats what they are getting paid to do, they still pull a salary. If they want to campaign then resign from the senate...
