Confusing lighting error

so i had my nissan running for the first time in months yesterday... so i decided to tackle another problem, the turn signals, before storage i thought my left front was out... because it didnt work. now i saw why, one of the wires were semi-severed, so i threw some vinyl tape on it, and now it works... however the signal click is still sped up (warning me that one's out) i checked all 4, they work... wtf?anybody know a possible solution?(i tried the search button and i couldnt find anything that helped)

The sensor may still see the cut as a low voltage issue? Try soldering the severed section to ensure everything is solid to see if that's the issue. I'm just grasping at straws here.
