Confusing Exhaust Cam Colors

I just pulled a cam that was painted GREEN out of the exhaust side of a donor KADE... I've read the stickes and how to's and only one mentions color and it mentions ORANGE as the exhaust color. An orange cam did come out of the car but it was out of the intake side. Also the orange cam is stamped with the number 1 and the green stamped with a 2, I'm really confused here... Please Help

Is it an S14 Motor? If so, the color codes are opposite.

S13 KA has orange exhaust camS14 KA has green exhaust cam

Yeah it's a s14 motor, thanks. Are the durations still the same?

s13 is 240 intake and 248 exhaust

S14 is 232 intake and 232 exhaust

I have an s13 so does that mean if I put the green cam in it my car will actually run worse than it does now??

I think there is a write up on cam swaps and different combos + specs and what not. I would check it out!
