Ok I'm getting my sr20det swap really soon, but I have a few concerns. I did a search but didnt find what I was looking for. I have a 95 240 SE automatic. Im doing the auto to manuel swap and I heard on here the my driveshaft wont work witht he sr transmission. Is this true? Which one can I use or how can I modify mines to work. Also I heard my gauge cluster wont work either because my car is automatic. This shop that is doing my swap isnt really familiar with nissans. they focus mainly on hondas and acuras. They will be getting help from a shop called cartuning or something like that. Im in southern cali if it matters. Ok thanks for listening to my questions. I know I will find my answer now. Thanks you guys. :DI would appriciate any other pointers and tips

It doesn't matter what SR hes getting.

Before I answer your question, you live in Southern California, and you are getting your swap done at a Honda shop. Not the smartest thing to do, you are surrounded by shops 100x more competent at doing SR swaps, phase2, motorex, sr20 store...

Ask Black240 how it feels to go to a Honda shop and get screwed over.

Anyway, you need a 91+ 240SX manual driveshaft. S13 or S14 it doesn't matter, the 89-90 is a little short, but it will still work.

I know Im really taking my chances with this shop but they are warrenting all of their work. Plus Im getting it cheap. I know the saying "you get what you pay for" but Im geting to parts from motorex and having the other shop install it. well teh whole thing is going to run me like around 3500 to 3900 engine and labor. thanks for the info anyway.

By the way anyone know of shops in southern cali that do sr swaps of have do it there. my budget is no more than 5 grand;) Thanks..
