Many of the early JDM had Nissan on the plenum but all I've seen in the last 3 years have the Infiniti logo. The non North American exhaust is the key to look for.

The ebay pictured engine looks about AVERAGE normally they are cleaned up more.

Buying without a visual inspection [looking inside both valve covers] is very risky since we reject half the engines we get.

Also you must do the chain guide replacement on ALL 90-93 and check 94 JDM engines not to mention plenum hoses, knock sensors, etc, etc.

Buying the engine is just the start and cheapest cost component of a replacement.

That said the one Fred purchased domestic 94 with 55k looks pretty good so far but we have only looked in the oil filler hole.
