Confused! Please HELP!!!!!!!

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Ok, so car is gettin on my last nerves

here are the symptoms: just put a newer ka in after the last ka blew, started right up no problems, everything was good, then driving it in town on a test run, dies at an intersection, everything WAS fine, i just got a new battery distributor plugs and wires, but when i tryed starting it after dying the battery was dead! that could mean 2 common things that i know of, alternator bad or short, take it back home, charge the battery, and starts right up and runs no problem, then driving again for about a half hour with no problems ready for something to happen, i stop and let it idle for about 5 minutes and it shuts off and starts up right away on its own!!!drove it to my buddies house and any more than about 5 percent throttle it boggs and jumps, get to my friends house and we disconnect the maf, idle raises so it doesnt cut out anymore, but driving it again does the same thing. i get home and pull it in the driveway and dies goin in the garage and doesnt start back up because the battery is dead, once again, this is a 1 week old battery! charge the battery and starts right up and runs fine and idles fine forever, shut it off and start it again but battery is dead again!!!!! Also, the ka put in is de just like the last, but from a 95 and is OBDI and i used to have a de OBDII

idk what to do, what do u think? any imput would be great! PLEASE!!

uhm if you charge the bat and it starts and drives fine, you already know whats wrong, get an alt and go to work, is so hard

cause your alternator is bad...... replace it, or make sure your connections are good and see if that helps.

it does that cause the ecu needs a min of 12 volts to run right, if not it plays hell on your sensors and how the ecu reads them. I had a friend sell a van.... lol " I keep charging the battery and it dies" "it runs fine for a while after I charge it, then it starts to bogg and jump" not you him
