confused: oil filter

Ok so I was reading in the facts yesterday that the oil filter for my RB20 was from a ka. well I bought one and tried to put it on and it wasnt fitting in any manner. So I went back and took a guess and bought a Z32TT oil filter and screwed it right on.

Anyone know why the KA one didnt fit?

Maybe you got one for a ka24e and it was different than de? I think I use the 300zx filter though.

thats what I was kind of thinking but I wasnt sure if the DE and E had different filters.....does anyone know this for fact?

that seems kind of odd that they would be different. I picked up a Fram filter for my 1997 Nissan Hardbody which has the KA24e and it is the same filter that is for the KA24DE I had in my S13. That same filter also works on my RB25.

z32 any year will work.i ran the big donkey mann filters meant for a volvo 240 on my rb, awesome filters.
