confused! AIV removal and emission?

Ok, i have ppl adamantly say a lot about this, who's right? Will a well running S13 dohc with brand new cat, and no aiv pass smog? s14's didnt even have it, so i figure yes? just wondering, got to get tested this summer...-Enzo

If you pass visual, it should pass smog.
