confused about 5 and 6 bolt lsd

what bolts are we counting..... the ones on the halfshafts. for example mine have 3 sets of paired bolts. on the half shafts. that would be the 6 bolt lsd. i have other people telling me s13 only came with 5 bolt. now im really confused

6-bolt (hard to see, but it's got the three pairs of holes)

Im pretty they are all r200 diffs right? my jdm s13 has a 6 bolt axles, but has an aftermarket diff anyway...

the 6 bolts are opens the 5 bolts are vlsds no crap

the 5 has a bit bigger axles then the 6

cool thing about the 5 is that it has cooling fins casted into the diff cover so it helps a bit and looks like sweetness under the car

both can be switched to hlsds

the vlsds can wear out and not lock so well so its cool to have for a bit then upgrade to kazz
