From the horse's mouth.

Hi Greg,

Pickup Truck owners value powerful
performance and aren’t willing to compromise. That’s
exactly why Nissan has teamed up with Cummins Inc. to bring
a 5.0L V8 Turbo
Diesel engine to the next generation Titan. That’s
right, a 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel engine for a light-duty pickup
truck.

Never before has a manufacturer
brought a V8 turbo diesel option to a light-duty truck. The
engine will deliver in excess of 300 horsepower and more
than 500 lb.-ft.
of torque. The combination allows drivers high towing
capacity and the mileage that is expected in today’s
marketplace.

The all-new Titan is now in the
latter half of its development cycle and is currently
undergoing extensive on-public-highway durability testing.
The Nissan-Cummins
partnership will undoubtedly shake up the United States
pickup market and grab the attention of truck fans
throughout North America.

In addition to our big Titan news,
Nissan also recently launched an all-new Nissan Trucks
Facebook community.
The new community is a great place for fans to learn
the most up-to-date Frontier & Titan information, as
well as a platform to facilitate communication between the
brand and Nissan truck enthusiasts.

Please let us know if you’d like
any additional information about the Cummins collaboration
or new Facebook community. You can read the full press

Thank
you!
Allison
