I believe you'll still have a Q in those years, but the question is what will you do for tires for your piepans

Yeah.... I'm thinking of keeping my recently acquired reman. My current reman is about 5 years old but might not last as long as yours due to upgraded car audio (amps, subs). This might be the answer to heavy audio, electric fans and such. Stock up on alternators!
No lies... Matter fact... i think im about to invest on a 2 farad capacitor. Cause i think my music is what did it... I think the alternator would have lasted another year if it wasnt for allll dat dang music i put it that car...... I also think my back window may be comeing off... but thats for another thread.

Well, this is a thank you once again. I kinda forgot signs of things and forgot what to do. What threw me off is i had just did my brakes, and just so happen a couple days later i see a brake light and an abs light.
This has been goin for two days till i decided to come on here and use the search button. And voila, i found me. Me asking this years back. So i decided to test the alternator, and i find; Dang alternator belt is off.... Dug deeper and the idler pulley came off too. The nut was missing, but i still had the pulley and cover. Replaced pulley and put belt back on. Car back to normal!!. Just wanted to say thanks again. And yes, i still have that same alternator i put on back then, still running like a champ!
Well not quite, have a problem, but this isnt the right place for it
