Hi there, I'm preparing to install a remote start next weekend, and am getting a little confused. With so many wire colors, poor wording in the alarm manual, etc, I just want to double check. First, I have read the thread at
zerothread?id=73275, which basically says I'll need to wire in the cold-start wire. It should be noted that the wire colors listed in that thread are for the ignition cylinder itself, not the harness it connects to. The colors mentioned here will be for the harness. Here is how I intend to wire it up: I just want to be sure these are right the first time...I have attached the power supply routing snippet from the FSM for reference.
Starter in from IGN(key) --> B/W starter signal, cut, from KEYStarter out(to starter) --> B/W starter signal, cut, TO STARTEROut to ACC --> BlueOut to Primary IGN --> Black/RedOut to Second IGN --> Black/Yel
Thanks greatly,-Slip
