Confidential 2014 Infiniti QX50 information

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

It looks to me like the biggest change was done to the name  .

Also, since the information is posted on a publicly accessible forum, would it still be considered 'confidential'? :gapteeth:

Too bad Infiniti has not adopted blind spot monitoring as standard on a luxury vehicle as others have.

Doesn't appear to be much new other than perhaps the colors have been given new names. I assume you still must buy the unappealing (to some of us) 19" bicycle wheels if you want a loaded auto, and you still cannot get the wheat interior with the gray or platinum exterior.

There is one feature that may be new here - but likely I have just never been aware that the front suspension is a double wishbone - more expensive but considered the suspension of choice for a smooth ride. I have always though the EX was fitted with a McPherson struts.

Sad to see the options have not really changed. Guess I'll will never own one of the original EX's, a handsome ride. You can bet the condo they will do the same thing to the 15 EX as they did to the FX and the GX
